A loyalty programme awarding subscribers points for network usage, redeemable for voice and SMS. Built and scaled solo to 4 million subscribers — involved deep work on caching, database partitioning, query optimisation, and server configuration to handle the load.
MTN Zukuka
Gave MTN's 10 million subscribers 3 free minutes daily to any MTN number between 5–8AM on weekdays. Peak traffic during that 3-hour window was the core engineering challenge — solved with asynchronous processing and load distribution across systems.
Pula Agricultural Insurance Engine
Core insurance engine for Pula, powering agricultural insurance for smallholder farmers. Built at Kanzu Code during Pula's early years. Pula now operates across 12 countries in Africa and Asia.
